The Standard is Toxic. We Choose Differently.
Research & Education
For too long, harsh chemicals, hidden VOCs, and environmental damage have been accepted as normal in the cleaning industry. We do not believe toxic chemicals belong in cleaning products.
At Washdown and Washdown at Home, research is continuous. We are constantly developing and refining our biotechnology, exploring safer, more advanced ingredients and applying the latest scientific understanding of indoor air quality and environmental impact.
We believe education is part of responsibility. Through our awareness initiatives and industry petitions, we advocate for transparency, clearer labelling, and higher standards across the sector.
Our packaging uses Prevented Ocean Plastic, helping intercept ocean-bound waste while supporting employment in vulnerable coastal communities.
Because Washdown is more than cleaning.
Through our ten percent giving commitment, a portion of every sachet supports Calm Zone initiatives, humanitarian projects, clean water access, and ocean conservation efforts.
Clearing up does not stop at surfaces. It extends to cultures, communities, and coastlines. We believe no mess is too big or too small to clear up with the right support.
